This study proposes a theoretical and analytical framework grounded in ethnomethodology to investigate the posthuman condition in the context
of the increasing prevalence of algorithmic systems and artificial intelligence. In exploring the complex interactions between human and nonhuman actors, this study’s so-called post ethnomethodological approach considers the basic unit of analysis to be the heterogeneous assemblage of an action scene. This study probes the following question: How do the actions of such heterogeneous cognizers (humans and nonhumans) make their action scenes accountable? This study seeks to reassemble action scenes and to analyze their cognitive and behavioral patterns. Furthermore, in the reassembly process, this study investigates the type of common-sense knowledge that is continually reconstructed in action, as well as the manner in which it is reconstructed.
